WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN

#CHANGEAGIRLSLIFE

We donated £5 from every order globally today to The Prince's Trust in Support of their #ChangeAGirlsLife campaign.

Women Supporting Women is a passionate group who are committed to changing the lives of young women at The Prince’s Trust, helping them gain the skills needed to live, learn and earn.  We passionately believe that all young women deserve the chance to succeed. We want to raise £10 million over the next five years which will make it possible to change the lives of over 6,500 more incredible young women.

The Prince's Trust is a charity in the United Kingdom founded in 1976 by HRH The Prince of Wales, to help vulnerable young people get their lives on track. It supports 11 to 30-year-olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion.  The Prince's Trust is one of the most successful funding organisations in the UK and the UK's leading youth charity, having helped over 950,000 young people turn their lives around, created 125,000 entrepreneurs and given business support to 395,000 people in the UK.

Over 44 years, The Prince’s Trust has become expert in supporting those in particularly challenging situations, which range from mental health problems, growing up in the care system, victims of sexual abuse, involvement within the criminal justice system, and long-term unemployment.

The Trust’s tailored programmes and long-term support give young people the practical skills and emotional resilience to pick themselves back up and create their own positive futures.  When you change just one life, it has an incredible ‘halo’ effect that benefits their family, friends, and their local community, thus deepening your impact.

The Women Supporting Women Campaign passionately believes that all young women deserve the chance to succeed. The goal is to raise £10 million over the next five years which will make it possible to change the lives of over 6,500 more incredible young women.

THE PRINCE'S TRUST

The Prince's Trust is a charity in the United Kingdom founded in 1976 by HRH The Prince of Wales, to help vulnerable young people get their lives on track. It supports 11 to 30-year-olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people helped by The Trust are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law.

It runs a range of training programmes, providing practical and financial support to build young people's confidence and motivation. Each year they work with about 60,000 young people; with three in four moving on to employment, education, volunteering or training.

In 1999, the numerous Trust charities were brought together as The Prince's Trust and was acknowledged by The Queen at a ceremony in Buckingham Palace where she granted it a Royal Charter.  In September 2020, The Trust announced that it had supported 1,000,000 young people since its foundation.
